Alpine Manor Visitation Guidance

Visitation hours:

Monday-Friday: 10am-11am and  12:30pm-3:30pm,

Saturday & Sunday-: 1pm-2pm

 

 

 Alpine Manor may allow limited visitors only if:

  1. Visitor Must be 18 years of age or older, or accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.
  2. Total amount of visitors in Alpine Manor cannot exceed 5 individuals at any time.

All visitors must be screened for COVID-19 signs and symptoms prior to visitation. Screening will consist of both temperature checks and asking screening questions to assess potential exposure to COVID-19 which shall include questions regarding international travel or travel to other states designated under the Commissioner’s travel advisory

Visitors and residents must wear a face covering at all times. The facility will provide a facemask if the visitor lacks a face covering. Visitors and residents must follow 6 ft social distancing at all times.

Current COVID-19 positive residents, residents with COVID-19 signs or symptoms, and residents in a 14-day quarantine or observation period are not eligible for visits.

If there are confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Alpine Manor, all visitations will be halted for 14 days from test date.

Visitors will be notified in advance by telephone in the event that scheduled visitation is canceled.

Visitation areas:

Weather permitting, visits will be in designated marked outside areas (3 designated areas in front of building) up to 5 visitors.

Under certain circumstances, as determined by the facility, visitation can be inside in the front foyer. At any time, there will be no more than 5 individuals in the front foyer.

When privacy is requested,  visitor may be permitted to visit in the resident’s room as long as both resident and visitor are able to adhere to the core principles of infection prevention and control and resident resides in a private room with private bathroom. Door will be required to remain open to promote proper air flow and to allow required visual supervision.

Residents that share a bathroom with another resident or when more than one visitor is present, two visitors may be permitted in the North TV room with one resident at a time.

Compassionate Care Visits are permitted when visitation may not otherwise be permitted in accordance with the Department of Health’s current visitation guidance. Please call Alpine Manor to inquire criteria for compassionate care visits.
